Ms Winter's depiction of the interplay between a true submissive and a real Dominant leads me to believe she either has been in the lifestyle or is in close contact with others who have. This is no fifty shades of you know what that was researched in a library by someone who'd never set foot in a dungeon. I love her romanticized version of a Dominant/submissive relationship that shows the true values, code of honor, and deep connection between a Dom and his or her sub which is the core of the true BDSM lifestyle. Yes there are dabblers, wannabes, and actual predators who are drawn to this lifestyle...or should I say drawn to the clubs and the dungeons because they think it's all fun and games and a place to find easy prey but thankfully there are still enough of the honorable members of the old guard standing watch to weed those human scumbags out and bar them from most good dungeons. I like the romance factor, the sweetness when each partner realizes thier level of connection and devotion, and even though the sex scenes are incredibly arousing, they are still tender and loving. Ms. Winter knows how to weave an exceptionally accurate depiction of a BDSM relationship when all goes well. Excellent job. I look forward to seeing more from this author. This series is truly amazing and keeps getting better with each story! Nolan & Quinten are so perfect for each other - giving all they have and everything the other needs! I loved the look into BDSM that isn’t shown very often, service orientated submissive! I love how the list of characters I love keeps getting longer and longer! The characters are so well written and enjoyable - both flawed and lovable! It’s fun that this book ties perfectly into Ollie’s story - allowing us a chance to view his and Marshall’s relationship from a different view point!
